    1. It’s a little sad. They’re paying for a “unique” art piece that hundreds of people will generate from the same exact prompt

Sometimes i don’t understand how it works or maybe they are from the past.😅😅

    3. People have paid me to fix something that would have been a 30 second Google search.

If someone has put the time/effort into learning effective prompting, and installing software/models locally. I can see that having some value to someone who doesn’t have the time/desire/capacity to learn it themselves.

(I imagine the majority of commissioned AI art is of the Stable Diffusion / NSFW variety, not from ChatGPT. – So there is some configuration effort required.)

yeah… paying someone to prompt an ai for you, when you could just do it yourself for free. next level dumb, like hiring a chef to microwave your ramen

AI is very good. VERY GOOD.
Some people aren’t because most wouldn’t be able to set up comfyui.

    7. Some smart people have money and a little time, so they pay people to make what they want regardless of what technology is used. The question is how much money is it worth. If you spend an hour to produce an AI illustration that fits the needs of a business you can charge for an hour of your time. If you need to make hundreds of AI illustrations for a website – it’s worth more.
Writing good prompts and editing the pictures to match the requirements can take a lot of time.
      It’s not free.
